New Year’s Eve & Breakfast with Santa SOLD OUT!

Our fantastic New Year’s Eve extravaganza with Rod Stewart tribute artist Doug Varty is a SELL OUT!  And, tickets for Breakfast with Santa this Saturday morning are gone.  We trust everyone in attendance will enjoy these events.

If you are a dancer (ie: Ballroom, Line, Social) there is a tamer New Year’s event set for Friday, Dec. 30th upstairs.  More info below.

Upcoming Entertainment & Something New

In order to help the Branch continue to bring you high calibre entertainment, we have instituted a “Toonies for Tunes” donation box.  Please drop in a toonie if you are coming in to enjoy any of our entertainment events in the Lounge.   It will help cover our costs and allow us to continue to provide fantastic entertainment for your listening and dancing enjoyment.

Tonight it’s Karaoke with Jane Watson.  Friday and Saturday nights it’s the golden tones of Peter Marino!

Donations for Tree of Warmth

The Ladies Auxiliary has launched its annual Tree of Warmth! They are taking donations of winter wear (hats, gloves, socks, etc.) which will be donated to the Compassion Society. The tree and donation box are in the Lounge.  Please support this worthy venture.

Remember, our fantastic Fish & Chips are available every FRY-day!  Reservations required.

Kitchen help wanted
The Branch would like to be able to offer lunches/light meals during the week, possibly Saturday nights and for special events.  We are looking for someone to work for a couple of hours each day to prepare sandwiches, burgers, fries, chicken strips, etc. from about 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., along with Saturday evenings and scheduled events.  An interested party could turn this into a business which could be lucrative for themselves as well as the Legion.   If you are interested, please contact Moira in the office.
