ESL Mentorship Opportunity at Sheridan Centre for Elder Research

The following is a request from the Sheridan Centre for Elder Research

Are you 50+ and a native English speaker who would be willing to mentor Sheridan English as a Second Language (ESL) students?

We are running a 10-week program (from late May to early August) which will bring together ESL students and community members in conversation. The commitment is one hour a week for 11 weeks (one week for an info session and 10 weeks to run the program). The conversations will be over Zoom (video optional) and will be recorded for teaching purposes and to share with others.

If you are interested, please click on the link below and provide us with a bit of information about yourself. We are looking for approximately 10 mentors.

If you have any questions, please contact Leigh Hayden at

Best regards,

The Centre for Elder Research Team
