CARP Halton Chapter Supports Local Hospices with a $2500 Donation

CARP Halton Chapter has been advocating for and on behalf of seniors within Halton Region for the past 25 years. One of the most pressing issues for seniors is the need for more long term care facilities. More hospice care is a major part of these requirements. CARP Halton Chapter recognizes the important role played by the two existing hospices in Halton and is a strong supporter of the Townsend Smith Foundation who are working hard to establish a new hospice in North Halton. To show this support and to help celebrate Halton Chapter’s 25th anniversary a donation of $2500 has been made to the Carpenter Hospice in Burlington, Ian Anderson House in Oakville and to the Townsend Smith Foundation.
