CARP Halton Chapter Community Meeting in Milton: Estate Planning

At our CARP Halton Chapter community meetings in Milton we have once again invited Léony deGraaf  Hastings.  Léony is a professional financial advisor serving Burlington and surrounding area, specializing in retirement and estate planning. Léony has been a popular speaker at several of our earlier Community meetings and we have invited her to discuss Powers of Attorney for financial, wills and the responsibilities of executors. In particular Léony will explain how the rules governing these vital documents have changed recently and especially how these affect your executors.

The focus of her presentation will be the changes to the legislation around wills, executors, trustees and probate and how those changes will affect you. Léony will address the changes in Ontario’s legislation and what these mean for those who accept duties as estate trustees and executors.
