Sound Advice On Hearing Health for Caregivers
Presented in collaboration with Canadian Hearing Services, this five week webinar series provides caregivers with advice on various hearing loss related topics. Participants will receive guidance on how to help their care recipient enhance their communication skills, and boost their confidence in challenging listening scenarios.
Weekly topics will include:
Introduction to hearing health and communication
Factors that influence understanding of speech
Stress and expressing communication needs
Difficult listening situations
Hearing aid and home safety equipment
Every Monday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm
