C.A.R.P. Halton Chapter is very pleased to announce details of our next ZOOM meeting which will be held in the afternoon on Thursday March 25th from 2.00pm to 3.00pm. For this meeting we will have a presentation by the Halton Police Service entitled “Crime Trends in Halton Region.” You will find details on how to join the meeting below.
Criminals waste no time in exploiting opportunities to pursue their activities. They are well aware that seniors are amongst the most vulnerable and can be more easily preyed upon. We must be constantly on guard. Seldom for example does a day go by when we do not get a scam phone call of some sort or other. Criminals have even found ways of exploiting our concerns about COVID and turning that to their advantage. These are just a few of the many crimes that we must be aware of.
The more we know about crime in our region the better we will be equipped to avoid becoming a victim.
We will be delighted to welcome Constable Matthew Rocca as our speaker. The following is an overview of his presentation:
- Introduction
- 2020 Mid-Year Statistical Summary (i.e. January – June 2020)
- Criminal Offences
- Traffic Offences
- Five Year Statistical Trends
- Age Demographic Crime Trends
- Safeguarding Against Crime

- Question/Answer Period
