C.A.R.P. Halton Chapter will be holding two community meetings in January, one in Halton North on January 11th and one in Halton South on January 26th. Our Halton North meeting will be held at the Revera Birkdale Retirement Living Residence at 611 Farmstead (Derry and Farmstead) in Milton. Our Halton South meeting will be held at the Seniors Centre at 2285 New Street, Burlington.
The theme of our presentation at both locations will be “Mind over Clutter”
Our presenter will be Julie Stobbe. Julie is a trained Professional Organizer Lifestyle Organizing Coach. She will be talking about “clutter” – that most common of household problems – and giving us tips and ideas on how we might begin to de-clutter.
Just thinking about de-cluttering can be overwhelming never mind where to actually begin.
Julie understands what you’re going through. Change can be difficult – and even scary – but if you are concerned about the clutter in your home – or office – Julie’s presentation will show you how you can begin to tackle this problem. She will show you how to:
- identify your trouble spots
- create functional work and storage areas
- eliminate clutter and simplify your life
- establish routines that help you manage your time at work and at home
- find what you need when you need it
- save you time and money
- enjoy real peace of mind!
Julie will demonstrate that organizing your living and working areas is just a case of Mind over Clutter!
Our Milton meeting will be held on Wednesday January 11th at the Revera Birkdale Retirement Living Residence at 611 Farmstead (Derry and Farmstead) in Milton.
Our Burlington meeting will be held on Thursday January 26th at the Seniors Centre at 2285 New Street.
Doors will open at both locations at 6.30pm, the program will start at 7.00pm and will start to wrap up around 8.45pm
At the Milton location most visitors will be able to park in the visitor parking areas on site. Should it be required additional street parking is available on Farmstead. As this is a seniors residence it is expected that masks will be required. Although requirements may change, it is anticipated a COVID test prior to entry into the building will not be needed.
Refreshments will be available at both meetings. Treats at Milton will be provided by our hosts and treats at Burlington will be provided by The Kensington by Revera Retirement residence at 25 Lakeshore Rd W. in Oakville. We thank the Revera management and staff for their generosity.
Our meetings will begin with a short welcoming address and a brief update on your C.A.R.P. Halton Chapter activities. This will be followed by our featured presentation.
There will be a break at the midway point which will allow time to socialize with fellow members and to visit our sponsors. We encourage you to chat with our sponsors and learn about the services they provide.
Our sponsors at Burlington will be:
