Introducing CNIB “Read to me”

CARP Members are encouraged to pass this information along to anyone who could benefit from being enrolled in this program and where necessary to assist with the registration process.

 A new storytelling program for adults!

Hear the friendly (and well-trained) voices of CNIB Recording Studio volunteer narrators read an assortment of classic essays, stories and poems. 

Treat your ears to the works of Mark Twain, O. Henry and Edgar Allan Poe, and many more. Lose yourself listening to an afternoon of poetry, from Shakespearean sonnets to the works of early Canadian poets! Explore thoughtful topics ranging from Origin of the Species to the essays of A.A. Milne.

  • Time: 1-3 p.m. EDT.
  • Location: This virtual program can be accessed by phone or through Zoom webinar platform (a toll free phone number or weblink will be provided after registration).

We’re deep-diving into Project Gutenberg, meaning that these sessions are open to all! If you are an audiobook reader who normally depends on the delivery of CDs from CELA, we especially want to welcome you to this program.
