Advocacy Director Bob Elliot met recently with Halton Region Chair Gary Carr and Commissioner of Social and Community Services Alex Sarchuk. The purpose of the meeting was to share the results of the recent Halton CARP member survey and to identify opportunities for the Region and CARP to work closer together addressing issues important to seniors in the region. With the upcoming municipal election this fall, The CARP Halton chapter will be asking all candidates running for regional office identify their plans to better the lives of seniors in the region.
