Sheridan Elder Research: Opportunity to Participate in Virtual Art-making

The Sheridan Centre for Elder Research, together with Artfull Enrichment, is seeking 60 participants to take part in a two-month intervention exploring potential benefits of their visual arts programming and instruction opportunities for Canadian older adults.

Participants will be expected to complete a minimum of four Artfull programs over the course of the two-month project and will be encouraged to socialize with other participants virtually and share their artwork in a community gallery. Participants will also be asked to complete three online questionnaires:

1) before starting the intervention

2) halfway through the intervention

3) after the intervention has ended

All participants will receive free visual arts supplies to facilitate their participation. Previous arts participation is not required.

If this project is of interest to you, you feel that you would have the time to commit to the project between April and June 2024, and you would like to be considered for participation, please complete the recruitment survey at the link below by Monday, April 15th.

Please note that, if more than 60 individuals express interest in participating in this project, participants will be chosen at random.
