CARP Halton Chapter’s “50+ Lifestyle Expo” held at the Seniors Centre in Burlington on Sunday June 28th was a huge success. We would like to say a big “THANK YOU” to our exhibitors and to our many visitors. 200 people came to visit and chat with our 30+ vendors and non-profit organizations who were on hand to provide valuable advice on a wide variety of products and services that are available throughout Halton Region.
Our visitors were also able to enjoy the Social Lounge at the Bistro Cafe where light refreshments were available and where they could connect with fellow members in a relaxed setting.
Many visitors also took advantage of our FREE Workshops
- Chair Yoga To experience the benefits of seated yoga with certified instructor Deborah Bartucci.
- Intro to Watercolour & More To be inspired by artist and author Cheryl Goldring as she demonstrated basic watercolour technique and sharesd her literary work.
Although taken towards the end of the event as the numbers were diminishing the following photographs will provide an idea of how our exhibitors were able to communicate effectively with our visitors.
We wrapped up the proceeding with our prize draw. As visitors entered they were given a card to be stamped by the exhibitors they visited. This card was then entered into the prize draw. Our winners were:
