Our Halton South community meeting will be held in Burlington on Thursday March 26th at the Seniors Centre at 2285 New Street. This presentation will be:

Clarity and Confidence in Caregiving presented by Senior Care Consultant Danielle Kamerman

Caregiving is one of the most meaningful roles a person can take on, yet it’s also one of the least visible. Every day, caregivers provide emotional support, physical assistance, medical coordination, and countless practical tasks that allow others to live with dignity and safety. But behind that dedication is a growing reality: caregiving is becoming more complex, more demanding, and more essential than ever before.

We will be delighted to welcome Danielle Kamerman BNSc. RN. who is the founder and Lead Consultant at “inTandem Senior Care Consulting.

Danielle’s life story has equipped her with the knowledge, experience and a passion to assist seniors and their families. Her work in General Medicine, Occupational Health Nursing, Family Medicine, and caregiving for seniors, have uniquely prepared her for this role and inspired the creation of her business. With a compassionate ear and a dedicated heart, Danielle provides peace as she gives guidance on the complexities of aging.

In this presentation, we’re going to explore what caregiving truly looks like—the responsibilities caregivers carry, the pressures they face, and the shifting landscape that will shape the future of care. We’ll look at current statistics, emerging trends, and the signs of caregiver strain that often go unnoticed until they become overwhelming.

Most importantly, we’ll talk about what caregivers need. It requires education, time, support, financial stability, community resources, and space for caregivers to care for themselves as well.

This conversation is about understanding the full picture of caregiving so we can be better caregivers or support the people who care for others. It’s about awareness, compassion, and practical tools that make a real difference in the lives of caregivers and the individuals they care for.
