CARP Halton Chapter ended 2025 with entertainment for their community meetings at both Milton and Burlington. Unfortunately no photographs are available for the Milton meeting where we were pleased to welcome local musician Martin Pangan who provided the entertainment with his repertoire of well known and easy listening music. 35 people came and thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
With the larger venue of the Seniors Centre available for the Burlington meeting CARP were delighted to welcome the ABBA Tribute Group. ABBA needs little introduction and our audience of over 170 people thoroughly enjoyed the evening as can be seen in the following photographs.
CARP Halton Chapter would like to thank everyone who came out to enjoy these evenings with us and for your support throughout 2025.
Our program director is busily lining up our program for 2026 and we already have a number of presentations confirmed which will continue with subjects that we feel are both educational and important for our seniors demographic. In addition and in conjunction with CARP National Advocacy initiatives we will also be ramping up our advocacy on issues that we believe are relevant to seniors in Halton. As many know we recently conducted a survey to gather the opinions of our members on the issues that are believed to be most important. We will be sharing the results of this survey at future community meetings and will be prioritizing our advocacy accordingly.
