We live in a digital world where the ever-increasing use and evolution of digital technology is transforming almost everything we do. It is therefore vitally import that we embrace this digital world and make sure we know how to use it to benefit our everyday lives
This will be the focus of our Community meetings in February. We have arranged for a presentation that has been designed for our seniors demographic that will help us understand the digital world and how we can benefit from the many devices that are available to us.
We will be delighted to welcome Chris Bint who is the Chief Learning Officer at Tech Coaches. Chris is a well known and respected technology educator in our community. Many of you may have already met him through the many presentations he has given throughout our community.
More about Chris:
Chris, an alumnus from the University of Toronto, has a vision of a world where technology is a natural extension of everyday living—for every generation.
Chris has charted the course in technology education since 2006. From his foundational experiences working with the Sheridan Centre for Elder Research he has literally helped thousands of learners embrace technology for over a decade.
“Chris and the team at Tech Coaches are driven by a singular mission: to weave technological literacy into the fabric of everyday life for adults everywhere. They envision a world where each individual wields technology not just competently, but with joy and confidence, navigating the rapid currents of digital change with ease.
Their approach is rooted in empowerment. We aim to reduce reliance on external tech help, guiding adult learners to take the helm of their digital lives”.
