Online Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Program

Are you feeling overwhelmed, stretched thin, or in need of space to care for yourself while supporting someone living with dementia?

Our online Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program is designed specifically for care partners of individuals living with dementia. Led by a trained clinician from the Alzheimer Society, this eight-week workshop offers practical strategies to help participants manage stress, build resilience, and enhance overall well-being in a supportive group setting. Through guided mindfulness practices, care partners will learn to navigate daily stressors with greater calm, awareness, and self-compassion.

What the program includes:
• Evidence-based stress management strategies
• Formal meditation practices and guided reflection
• Mindful movement exercises inspired by yoga (options to modify movements and poses for comfort and safety)
• A supportive group environment with shared learning
• Practical tools to build resilience and emotional balance

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or simply seeking healthier ways to cope with caregiving stress, this program offers tools to help you feel more supported, resilient, and balanced.

Heart Disease Management for Caregivers

Are you supporting someone living with heart disease while also trying to look after your own health and well-being?

Understanding heart health, nutrition, and stress management can make a meaningful difference for both you and the person you support. The right knowledge can lead to fewer crises, more confident caregiving and better peace of mind.

Join our Heart Disease Management for Caregivers session, designed to provide practical knowledge and realistic strategies that fit into busy caregiving routines.

In this session, participants will explore:
Heart disease basics & risk factors – understanding warning signs and common risks such as high blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, smoking, inactivity, and stress
Eating for heart health – how salt, fats, sugar, and fiber impact the heart and ways to build balanced meals
Simple meal planning for caregivers – grocery tips, label reading, and quick meal ideas that save time and energy
Caregiver stress & burnout – how sleep, stress, and skipped meals affect health, plus practical coping strategies
Small daily healthy habits – hydration, regular meals, and simple routines that support long-term heart health

This session offers supportive, practical guidance to help caregivers feel more confident managing heart health while also prioritizing their own well-being.
